BBDO Worldwide is the most awarded network in the world for the second time consecutively, according to The Gunn Report

BBDO has been designated "The most awarded network in the world" by The Gunn Report 2003. This ranking made by The Gunn Report was drawn up on the basis of the winners' lists of most important advertising festivals in the world.
Of all 5 editions of The Gunn Report drawn up so far, it is the second year consecutively when BBDO Worldwide was designated with "The most awarded network in the world" and the third year when the BBDO worldwide network wins this title. As a matter of fact, BBDO has never been awarded a prize lower than 2nd prize.
Taking into account the reasons that lead to this outstanding success of BBDO Worldwide in 2003, The Gunn Report considers that the main reason would be the great expansion of the network. More precisely, there are 24 agencies present on national markets which brought their contribution to the excellent record reached by BBDO, Graffiti BBDO being one of them. Graffiti BBDO won various awards at the 2003 International Advertising festivals: short-listed in the final at The Hall of Fame, organized by World Federation of Advertising (WFA); Golden Stick Award at Golden Drum 2003; Great Award at Golden Beach Umbrella 2003; Special Award of the Jury (Ad Spot Non-Profit) at ADEE (Ad European Events), Palermo, 2003; Intermedia Globe Silver at Worldmedia Festival Hamburg 2003; Festival of Ideas - short-listed for the following campaigns: "The Experiment", "Romtelecom for Romania". In addition to that, the company has been also awarded at the most important national competitions - AdPrint 2003 ("The Best Campaign" & "The Best Print") and Ad'Or 2003 ("The Best Print" for pharmaceutical products category). Donald Gunn, representative of The Gunn Report, comments on this success of BBDO Worldwide: Since 1999, BBDO Worldwide has successively ranked 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 1st in the top of agencies, this proving in the most convincing way that " The Work, The Work, The Work" is not just a slogan, but a lifestyle.
The Gunn Report distinction is the most important goal that BBDO set for 2003. In June, BBDO Worldwide dominated The International Festival at Cannes, being awarded with 42 Lions (including the highest number of Lions for Print, Direct & On-line Media Category), an impressive number in comparison with other agencies. BBDO Europe has recently won, for the first time, "The Network of the Year" title at Euro EFFIE. Proximity Worldwide, part of BBDO network, that deals with direct marketing and client service, was the most awarded network of the Direct Marketing association, which was the organizer of The Echo Awards.
BBDO worldwide is the third biggest agency network in the world, having 302 agencies in 76 countries. In 2002, BBDO Worldwide was designated "The Agency of the Year" by Ad Age, Ad Age global and Adweek magazine. BBDO is therefore the only advertising agency that has received honor titles from all three top advertising publications, throughout the same year.
