"Observing the speed limit behind the wheel" is the theme of the advertising creativity contest "Drum to Golden Drum" organised by Graffiti BBDO and Dacia

The grand prize is the opportunity to participate at the Golden Drum Advertising Festival 2005
Graffiti BBDO in partnership with Dacia launches the third edition of the advertising creativity contest "Drum catre Golden Drum", having as theme of the brief "Observing the speed limit behind the wheel".
The creative contest's target consists in young people under 26 that are not employeed in an advertising agencies. They must make proposals for a radio commercial, a TV spot, a print ad and a bill-board on the subject given and the best work will be awarded with the opportunnity to participate at the Golden Drum Advertising Festival 2005. Launched by an event, dedicated to young people interested in advertising, that took place today at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication Studies, the briefing is available together with the registration form on the Graffiti BBDO website( www.graffiti.bbdo.ro ). The contestants can send their work between June 25 and July 31 2005 and the winners will be announced on the September 1, 2005.
This year's jury will be composed by: Eduard Croitoru - Advertising Manager Dacia,Corina Ilie - Deputy Advertising Manager Dacia, Sorin Psatta - Strategy & Research Director Graffiti BBDO and Adrian Preda - Creative Director Graffiti BBDO.
The members of the jury will mark the works after a series of criteria based on the originality, the simplicity of the creative idea and the importance of the message for the comunication objective presented in the briefing.
About the subject of this year's contest, Eduard Croitoru, Advertising Manager Dacia, says: "There were many directions that we found interesting for this subject, but we wanted to eliminate the comercial side that would have ment, inevatable, the promoting of a brand. Observing the speed limit offers endless posibilities and, much more than that, it is a serious problem that should concern us all."
The grand prize of the "Drum catre Golden Drum" contest consists in the opportunity to participate at the Golden Drum Advertising Festival of the New Europe, in Portoroz, Slovenia, (October 2-7 2005). The travel expenses will be covered by Graffiti BBDO and Dacia and the access to the festival (the seminars and the awards gala) will be covered by the organizers of Golden Drum. The best three contestants will have the chance to get acquainted with the world of advertising by attending a training for a month at Graffiti BBDO, with the possibility of continuing the collaboration.
